I weighed 204 pounds after I had my daughter. I knew I was fat but I was comfortable and happy. But, once I started getting the hang of being a new mom I wanted to get out, meet friends and have play dates. NONE of my clothes fit. NOTHING was flattering and I hated how everything looked on me. Also, I couldn't stand taking pictures. Luckily, living in Germany, I needed a sweater, as it was always cold. I could hide under my jackets and sweat pants. But, I couldn't hide forever and feel uncomfortable all the time. I was fat and it didn't matter what I wore, I was still fat.

I started going to the gym. It made me feel good, but the pounds weren't shedding. The way I ate was terrible. My family and I ate out or ordered delivery 3 to 4 times a week. I knew that had to change and that was the hardest part. So, I tried diets that have ready meal plans. It worked, lost 30 pounds, but I didn't want to eat like that forever. It was a quick fix and made me feel good. BUT, I didn't want to eat those gross meals for the rest of my life. And it probably wasn't the healthiest way. So, I started working out again, drinking a ton of water and gaining energy. Gaining life again. I knew I needed a better healthy habit still, so I did my research. Began eating more veggies, no soda, no juice or overloading on carbs. Plus, I stopped tasting and finishing my daughters food. I did this on my own for 3 months.
I was finally 170 pounds, size 12 pants, and felt like a super mom.
I moved back to California in June 2014 and gained some weight. I got too excited with eating everything I didn't have in Germany.
I was 190 pounds... I was happy, but couldn't stand the way I looked in pictures. I needed help and some guidance.
I continued eating clean and working out. I lost 20 pounds on my own, but stopped. I hit a weight loss plateau. It was frustrating and I didn't know what to do. Something was missing.
I made a Facebook group page, Commit To Be Fit, so my friends and family could give tips and motivation. Maybe I could get guidance from them? It made me feel good to give encouraging words to the people who mattered most and definitely made me want to better myself. That worked, but the scale wasn't budging. That's when I hit up my friend, Yesie, and told her to get me set up with Team Beach Body. I was initially going to just be her costumer, but I loved having my Facebook group and thought I could definitely be a Coach.
It's something that became my lifestyle. It wasn't a diet anymore. I'm very passionate about being healthy and feeling good. I want everyone to feel this way. This is what I'm suppose to do.
It's the best feeling in the world when my friends and family tell me they lost 5 to 10 pounds because of me. Or they have more energy and are motivated to get up and exercise because of me.
I've been a Team Beach Body Coach for 2 weeks now. I've lost some weight, inches around my whole body, I gained muscle, my flexibility is getting better everyday and most importantly I'm happy.
I drink the Shakeology and it gives me energy, makes me feel healthy and tastes good too. I feel like it's a cheat meal every time I have it. I truly believe that Shakeology is my missing piece to my healthy life.
Thank you Team Beach Body,
Coach Ashlee
